Hair Transplant

HairTransplant is a surgical technique available to replace lost hair. This technique is usually adopted as a treatment method by men to overcome balding.
Hair loss or thinning could be a result of various factors. Some commonly known aggravators are genetics, poor diet, serious diseases including thyroid, a specific hair loss condition named Alopecia Aerate, hormones, and stress. Whatever the cause may be, thinning or falling hair affects an individual's wellbeing and level of confidence. ii) Multi-Unit Grafting or MUG : Combines several follicles in a single graft to ensure higher concentration of hair

iii) Follicular Unit Extraction or FUE: Generally recommended for shorter hair. Follicular units are removed individually rather than in strips, eliminating the need for sutures.
It is strongly recommended that the hair transplanting treatment be carried out by a skilled, experienced, and ethical specialist. Hence, research the procedure so you can understand the pros and cons of each type of treatment, and will know what questions you should ask the surgeon. When you choose a surgeon, ask if you can talk to some of the patients that have had the procedure done in that office.

Hair TransplantServices in Pakistan are surgically done after administering either a sedation or local anesthesia. An average procedure could take about six hours. Generally, the scalp is cleaned with shampoo and an anti-bacterial solution to prepare for the surgery. A Follicular Unit Transplant surgery would require the surgeon to take a strip of skin from the area where there is a higher concentration of hair growth. The strip is dissected into individual follicular units, which are transplanted to the balding area using sophisticated equipment such stereo microscopes and fine needles. The treated area is covered with a surgical dressing and non-exposure to the sun and elements for at least two days is advised. Cleaning and shampooing is required after two days to prevent formation of scabs on the transplant area as it could cause loss of newly transplanted hair follicles. It is natural for the transplanted hair to fall out in the week after surgery. However new hair will start growing from the transplanted follicles in about two months.
